ACTIVITIES
With a rich and full calendar of events, Laurel Park West is a great place for seniors. Our activities range from daily current events to religious services. We have a full time Activities Director and an assistant to see that all of our residents stay active both physically and mentally. We play BINGO several times a week, which by the way is one of our favorite activities. We also offer a seated exercise program, indoor bowling arts& crafts, social hour and much more!!! We have several holiday event parties throughout the year and monthly birthday celebrations with live entertainment. We have a community room that has a complete kitchen and internet access for our residents that would like to communicate via the internet with family and friends. For those interested we will provide computer classes that our residents can benefit from too! We feel that you will be pleased will all that we have to offer. Family and friends are welcome to come and participate with their family members too!!
In the warmer months of the year our residents can enjoy a beautifully decorated outdoor enclosed courtyard complete with umbrella covered tables and chairs and flowers in abundance. A gardening club and putting golf course are just a couple of the many outdoor activities that our residents can take pleasure in as well as just relaxing and soaking up the sun.
MENU & DIETARY
Laurel Park West understands the importance of good tasting, nutritional and well balanced meals. We also know that there are ever changing needs in the diets of our residents so that is why we can accommodate a variety special dietary needs. Our meals are home cooked and served restaurant style in our cheerful community dining room. We encourage all of our residents to come to the dining room and experience the great tasting food as well enjoy the social time that can be had. Our basic package includes 3 meals a day as well as a variety of nutritious snacks and drinks provided throughout the day to be sure that our residents are well nourished and hydrated. We welcome you to schedule a lunch or dinner tour to taste for yourself what an appetizing and pleasing menu selection we offer.
ROOM SELECTION
Laurel Park West offers 3 different styles of room choices:
All inclusive with our room choices you will receive weekly laundry, linen and housekeeping service as well as our basic care plan. We can provide you with a beautifully furnished room at no extra charge or you may bring your own furnishings or a combination of both. We have single or double beds to choose from and a variety of dresser styles, night tables and more!! We encourage you to bring family photos and familiar items so that your new home will be yours to enjoy.
Our large private rooms are approx. 240 sq. ft. and include a ˝ bath (toilet & sink) and spacious closet. You may choose a carpeted style or tile floors. All of our rooms have vertical blinds and can be furnished to your liking. Just let us know when you are deciding and we will have your room ready and waiting.
